In the last two weeks, we have had a whirlwind of events. Every day, our teams have been zooming up the M6, M1 and most of the A roads in between to deliver exciting team building activities, conference energizers and evening events. We have been using ‘boomwhackers’ with many hundreds of people. Our Crashing Waiters have been entertaining audiences at huge business awards and there has been a spate of drumming events.
Meanwhile, back in the office, we have been organizing a variety of events taking place all over the UK. We’ve also been organizing a special event in the Caribbean for about 2,000 people.
On Tuesday, however, I had a lovely trip down memory lane, to the location where it all started. I was working at the stunning Ashdown Park Hotel, with which I have a very personal connection.
15 years ago, as I stood overlooking the impressive view from the hotel, I received our very first corporate team building event enquiry! From that very first event, our company was born. What a difference a single phone call can make. When I think of the many places we have been across the world, the activities we have created and the tens of thousands of participants that have taken part, it has been an amazing journey.
Anyway, I couldn’t stand there reminiscing all day. We had work to do! We started with a boomwhacker energizer in the morning and then a drumming session after lunch.
Lots of laughs and one powerful rhythm session later, we had 60 participants totally enthused and sounding great together.
As I drove home later that day, I reflected that the vision we had for the company all those years ago is still our main objective today. No matter what activities clients choose, we aim to provide totally unique team experiences, delivered with much laughter and creativity.
