Get ready for a big interest in Rugby and Rugby-related events next year. England will host this quadrennial sporting spectacular with the final being held at Twickenham. Since Haka and Rugby are almost synonymous, we expect a huge interest in adding our Haka team activities to meetings, conferences and evening events in the build up throughout next year.
Here is our brand new slide show for Haka, which shows all the fun, impact and power of our Haka events.
The New Zealand All Blacks use the Haka called ‘Kamate’. Our very own Haka leader comes from the actual tribe that wrote this Haka. This means that your team is hearing the authentic story behind the ritual, and also all the gestures, sounds and intentions are coming from an authorized source. We feel this is incredibly important and, when you are in the presence of members of our Maori team and feel their passion and integrity, we know you will too.
Our Haka activity works equally well as an icebreaker, energizer or finale. Also, Haka works very well when integrated with a motivational speaker, which happened last week. There are many inspirational current or ex-international Rugby players who have vast experience in building or being part of successful teams.
Sometimes, there is just not enough time in the agenda to fit in a full interactive Haka experience and so, occasionally, we create a unique cultural conference opener. This can include our Maoris flooding into the room, doing an extended performance and briefly highlighting the use of Haka.
Whatever version you choose, the result is the same. That is, as you can see on the slide show, people having a fantastic time together and learning something powerful and fascinating.
Of course, once you have learned the Haka with us, you can stun your family and friends by jumping up in your living room and join in with the All Blacks on TV!
