As we have been in business for over 25 years, you can imagine we have had countless enquiries to adapt (our already unique) team building options.
This is normally to link the group activity to the conference or company values. Sometimes it is to celebrate the location of the event itself and occasionally, it is for purely aesthetic reasons to match the theme of the overall event.
I thought I would cast my mind back through the years and recall some examples where our team building and conference activities went even more bespoke.
Dominican Republic 2000 pax. Conference
Our client wanted us to deliver our One Voice singing activity with this huge group but, with a unique twist.
They had one of America’s U2 tribute bands flown in from LA to wow the crowd but, halfway through their very first song…Bono pretended not to be happy with the audience singing along with him so…pretending to be unhappy…he walks offstage!
On runs our singing coaches and over the next 40 minutes, they teach the massive audience how to sing in harmony perfectly.
Bono is ushered back onstage to give the audience one last change and of course…he is absolutely stunned with their transformation!
London 180 pax. Energiser
When the Top Gun 2 movie came out it was only a matter of time before that theme would be requested. We had a real drill sergeant walk onstage to put the audience through a wake up, drill marching session then…with all our team dressed as US navy ground crew…we unleashed Great Balls of Fire! This was simply our construction activity Team on Track re-imagined.
Barcelona 1800 pax. Conference
To finish off the conference day on a high, we created one huge rhythmical clapping orchestra. Clapping is the traditional accompaniment to Spain’s flamenco music. Once our Clap Happy orchestra could play multiple rhythms together and follow our conducting…on walks one of Spain’s best flamenco guitarists to play on top of this mass rhymical orchestra!
England 150 pax. Exclusive Birthday Party
The recent childhood classic movie based on The Folk of the Faraway Tree, was the theme for an unbelievable event setting. With scores of roaming actors, bespoke created sets all over the grounds and our Crashing Waiters dinner activity, adapted around Mr Saucepan Head! We had all the party diners creating saucepan percussion music together!
England 300 pax. Team Activity
A humble young man ambles slowly onstage with microphone in hand. The audience looks wary and a little confused. Their confusion turns into dumbstruck awe as our world champion Human Beatboxer unleashes a non-stop performance of Hip Hop and Drum and Bass classics. Using just his mouth and never-ending talent, the room went wild.
Over the next 30 minutes he taught the whole room how to become one company beatboxing machine.
Just when they thought the surprises were over…our live musicians walked onstage to perform some Rap and Dance music classic over the 300-person beatboxing wall of sound!
