Whilst we are most often asked to deliver our unique and creative team experiences, occasionally clients want a more familiar team activity.
Some clients just can’t envisage their colleagues Beatboxing, Bollywood Dancing, Painting or Singing for example, and we fully understand this.
Even though we know all our facilitators and performers are skilled at transforming every size group into a perfect success every time, more traditional options might be preferred.
With the advent of TV programmes like Traitors and Task Master, team physical and mental tasks are still very much in the public’s eye.
So, alongside all our musical and performing arts-based team activities, we have a growing list of more traditional teambuilding challenges.
One of our most popular activities in this class is our Team on Track. This is a construction-based activity that ultimately involves a finale challenge of speed and precision.
Please view our video showing all the action right here.
It has individuals building their own section of hand built and handheld “railway track”, then practicing with their nearby colleagues to pass sponge footballs along at speed.
Participants soon learn that the passing and receiving balls is incredibly difficult and requires patience and greater communication with their colleagues.
After the construction and practice time is over. We organise the group into teams from the back of the room all the way to the stage. This means we have three winding, human held train tracks that must get as many footballs as possible, from beginning to end…into the goal.
What ensues after the starting whistle… is non-stop cheering as the balls pass along coupled with, non-stop howls as the balls drop! Against the clock, they must work together as their huge supply chains deliver the balls and gain points.
The activity is particularly matched with large audiences. It is often logistically difficult and expensive to deliver an hour-long activity with groups of several hundreds of delegates.
Not so with Team on Track. We can entertain and challenge 500 plus people easily. All the equipment and tools we use are contained in tabletop bags. It’s that hassle free.
